Paying with Apple Pay straight from the search results is incredibly seamless. Overall great experience
Quick and easy check out experience with apple pay. Well done Namecheap team
Seems like all functionality other than searching for and listing domains has been removed.
Should have known this was too good to be true. Doesnt work. Tried logging in, doesnt show my domains and keep showing error. Update: force quits and wont reopen after Push Notification pop up. Tried first by not allowing, reinstalling, then allowing but it wont go past that.
When I enter my credentials and try to login, it does nothing. Useless.
Impossible to login. Login page does nothing. App appears to be abandoned.
A huge oversight for iPad users who have it mounted in a case. Should be an obvious functionality to have included?
Im trying to login and all it says is "trouble connecting, please try once more." I left godaddy because renewal fees are going through the roof, year after year they get higher and higher. But at least their mobile app works.
Love the ability to pay with Apple Pay! It makes the task of maintaining 20 or so domains much easier. Thank you for making my life easy, NameCheap!
Could we get WhoisGuard option at purchase, please?
Pros: VERY simple. As in, easy to use. Apple Pay makes things fast. Cons: VERY simple. As in, domains only. Cant purchase hosting, SSL, etc. Hopefully future versions will have more functionality.
I was able to login, but my domain list only shows about half of my domains. When I get to the bottom it acts like its loading more, but then its all janky and doesnt load anything else. The app is seriously worthless.
Come on, NameCheap, you have been promising support of TOTP 2-FA (Authy/Google Authenticator) for more than a year. You still havent implemented it, instead relying only on SMS 2-FA - which isnt even supported in your mobile app. Why release the app with such a shortcoming, and more importantly: why have you not corrected the shortcoming after all this time and all these requests for it? Not supporting 2-FA on your mobile app makes it unusable - unless you advocate that people disable 2-FA. Obviously you dont advocate this (and given the recent social engineering attacks against customer accounts via your live chat, you should be advocating 2-FA above-the-fold). Ive used NameCheap as my primary registrar for 7+ years now, with several hundred domains there. I love NameCheap. One of the reasons I love NameCheap is how they stand by their customers when legal bluffs are mailed in, how their support is instant, helpful, and competent, and how NameCheap responds quickly to user feedback. That last part clearly is not happening here, with this app. This is a shame. After all, when you hold the keys to a persons online real estate, many with portfolios worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, account security should be a core feature of your service. Im beginning to move some, not all, of my more important domains to registrars who specifically focus on their account security measures. Ill be transferring them all back as soon as NC steps up its game on approaching account security. Another great feature would be the ability to require two people to authorize domain transfers, etc. This is currently offered by several other registrars.
